Side Quests are marginally better than the first one with the neighborhood focus and you feel the impact of your actions. Even some of the animations are the same. Open world still feels like a filler since tons of elements are nearly identical with the first game and that's why I consider this one as kind of a DLC. I personally couldn't invest myself to care any of them however, I should add that Ganke and family elements are great and Miles is certainly a likeable character. Main story certainly lags behind the first one but due to the scale and the lack of iconic antagonists, it was bound to happen. Swinging also feels a lot better and organic with incredible animations. Combat has more action due to Venom powers and Miles' different style. This might be one of the most expensive *DLCs* that you will get since I cannot exactly categorize the game as a whole and standalone experience.Ĭombat and swing mechanics are a step up from the first game.
